Mr. BEILENSON introduced the following bill; which was referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means
A BILL
Relating to the reliquidation of certain entries.
  Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United
  States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. RELIQUIDATION AUTHORITY.
  Notwithstanding section 514 of the Tariff Act of 1930 or any other provision
  of law, the Secretary of the Treasury, if request therefor is filed with the
  appropriate customs officer within 60 days after the date of the enactment
  of this Act, shall--
  (1) reliquidate each entry listed in section 2 at the rate of duty that
  would have been assessed if that entry had been made on the day before the
  effective date of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States; and
  (2) make the appropriate refund of duty.
Such reliquidations and refunds shall be made within 60 days after the date
on which the request is made.
SEC. 2. AFFECTED ENTRIES.
  The entries referred to in section 1, filed at the Port of Los Angeles,
  California, are as follows:
