                                SCHEDULE

  Mr. BROWN. Mr. President, this morning, the leaders' time has been 
reserved, and the Senate will immediately resume consideration of S. 
240, the securities litigation bill. There will be 30 minutes of debate 
in relation to the pending Bryan amendment regarding aiding and 
abetting, to be followed by 30 minutes on the Boxer amendment regarding 
lead plaintiff.
  At the hour of 10:15 this morning, there will be two stacked rollcall 
votes on or in relation to the pending amendments.
  The Senate will stand in recess today from the hour of 12:30 p.m. to 
2:15 p.m. for the weekly policy luncheons to meet.
  Mr. President, at this time I suggest the absence of a quorum, and I 
ask unanimous consent that the time be divided equally.
