      UNITED STATES MINT NUMISMATIC COIN CLARIFICATION ACT OF 2000

  Mr. SMITH of New Hampshire. I ask unanimous consent that the Banking 
Committee be discharged from further consideration of H.R. 5273, and 
the Senate then proceed to its immediate consideration.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered. The clerk 
will report the bill by title.
  The assistant legislative clerk read as follows:

       A bill (H.R. 5273) to clarify the intention of the Congress 
     with regard to the authority of the United States Mint to 
     produce numismatic coins, and for other purposes.

  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the bill.
