PROVIDING FOR MEMBERS OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE ON PRINTING AND THE JOINT 
                  COMMITTEE OF CONGRESS ON THE LIBRARY

  Mr. BENNETT. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate 
now proceed to the immediate consideration of S. Res. 84, which was 
submitted earlier today by Senators Lott and Dodd.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the resolution by title.
  The legislative clerk read as follows:

       A resolution (S. Res. 84) providing for members on the part 
     of the Senate of the Joint Committee on Printing and the 
     Joint Committee of Congress on the Library.

  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the 
resolution.
  Mr. BENNETT. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the 
resolution be agreed to, and the motion to reconsider be laid upon the 
table.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
  The resolution (S. Res. 84) was agreed to, as follows:

       Resolved, That the following named Members be, and they are 
     hereby, elected members of the following joint committees of 
     Congress:
       Joint Committee on Printing:  Mr. Chambliss, Mr. Cochran, 
     Mr. Smith, Mr. Inouye, and Mr. Dayton.

       Joint Committee of Congress on The Library:  Mr. Stevens,
