  Mr. WATT. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize and congratulate 
Taiwan on its forthcoming National Day. In recent years, Taiwan has 
impressed the world with its spectacular economic and political 
accomplishments. Even though Taiwan has many challenges ahead, I am 
confident Taiwan will continue to prosper both economically and 
politically now and in the future.
