Save American Workers Act of 2014: The House began consideration of 
H.R. 2575, to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to repeal the 30-
hour threshold for classification as a full-time employee for purposes 
of the employer mandate in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care 
Act and replace it with 40 hours. Consideration of the measure is 
expected to resume tomorrow, April 3rd.

  Pursuant to the rule, the amendment in the nature of a substitute 
recommended by the Committee on Ways and Means now printed in the bill 
shall be considered as adopted.

  H. Res. 530, the rule providing for consideration of the bill, was 
agreed to by a yea-and-nay vote of 236 yeas to 186 nays, Roll No. 153, 
after the previous question was ordered by a yea-and-nay vote of 229
