Short title

This Act may be cited as the American Samoa Job Protection & Expansion Act of 2017.

Minimum wage applicable to American Samoa

Section 8103(b)(2) of the Fair Minimum Wage Act of 2007 (29 U.S.C. 206(b)(2) note) is amended by striking subparagraph (B) and inserting the following: (B)increased thereafter by such amount and at such time as determined by the Secretary of Labor through special industry committees as in place prior to July 24, 2007..
