<section id="H1AB399CED6AC4D37AA294E5842BDE6DF" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Stopping Abusive Female Exploitation Act of 2017</short-title></quote> or the <quote>SAFE Act of 2017</quote>.</text></section> <section id="HF53D7955B8FF46CAA37DF79D30F320E0"><enum>2.</enum><header>Increased penalty for female genital mutilation</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 116 of title 18, United States Code, is amended by striking <quote>5 years</quote> each place it appears and inserting <quote>15 years</quote>.</text></section>
