 <section id="HFC31BE1429FC40F3B063FEF88DE0054D" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Women in Aerospace Education Act</short-title></quote>.</text> </section><section id="HBCA7D2D57C3F470BA02D1F30421588D7"><enum>2.</enum><header>Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program fellowship opportunities</header> <subsection id="H810D035024AE4950A3D1D2FAE979B7ED"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The National Science Foundation Authorization Act of 2002 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/107/368">Public Law 107–368</external-xref>; <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/1862n">42 U.S.C. 1862n</external-xref> et seq.) is amended—</text>
 <paragraph id="HB0546476DF764D9A80FF10CEF1FCAF4C"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in section 10(a)(3)(A)(iv), by inserting <quote>, including research experiences at national laboratories and NASA centers</quote> before the semicolon; and</text> </paragraph><paragraph id="H571FBC0C465746C3BE76B51739CC0DB9"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in section 10A(c)(4)—</text>
 <subparagraph id="H33B9DE1B6BFC4A259116652AFD610DA1"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in subparagraph (A), by striking <quote>and</quote> at the end;</text> </subparagraph><subparagraph id="H8B9817AEC5FA4E1C9A7DBDA1FCD253DF"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in subparagraph (B), by striking the period at the end and inserting <quote>; and</quote>; and</text>
 </subparagraph><subparagraph id="HB9AABC549A914205A866FA1AB02522B6"><enum>(C)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following:</text> <quoted-block changed="added" committee-id="HSY00" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H6E12B08F7883482CB2749C5067974428" reported-display-style="italic" style="OLC"> <subparagraph id="H45EDC49A4F304E32B00DA4166DE1C058"><enum>(C)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">providing internship opportunities for fellows, including research experiences at national laboratories and NASA Centers.</text></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
 </subparagraph></paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H16C3E6EC50EE4C92BBB90CC46025061C"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text>The amendments made by subsection (a) shall apply with respect to grants awarded on or after October 1, 2018.</text>
 </subsection></section><section id="HCCD1FB0F033E4452810F8DC9E4A14329"><enum>3.</enum><header>NASA internship and fellowship opportunities</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Not later than October 1, 2018, the Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (in this section referred to as <quote>NASA</quote>) shall institute a process to prioritize the recruitment of qualified candidates who are women or individuals who are historically underrepresented in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and computer science for internships and fellowships at NASA with relevance to the aerospace sector and related fields.</text>
