Short title

This Act may be cited as the Federal Network Protection Act.

Notice not required for private entities

Section 3553 of title 44, United States Code, is amended— (1)by redesignating subsection (j) as subsection (k); and (2)by inserting after subsection (i) the following: (j)

Rule of construction

Nothing in this section shall be construed to require the Secretary to provide notice to any private entity before the Secretary issues a binding operational directive under subsection (b)(2)..
