			 polyfluoroalkyl substances as hazardous substances under the Comprehensive
			 Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980.</official-title></form>

 <section id="HEFABF65BA2B04F6E864BD058E8A44128" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>PFAS Action Act of 2019</short-title></quote>.</text> </section><section id="H9620B0474F4048BCA5BB72BA6826CDB5"><enum>2.</enum><header>Designation as hazardous substances</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency shall designate all per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances as hazardous substances under section 102(a) of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/9602">42 U.S.C. 9602(a)</external-xref>).</text>
