   Mr. Johnson of Louisiana introduced the following bill; which was 
     referred to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure

                                 A BILL


 
To reauthorize a pilot program to evaluate the effectiveness of certain 
water-related feasibility studies carried out by non-Federal interests.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. NON-FEDERAL IMPLEMENTATION OF WATER-RELATED FEASIBILITY 
              STUDIES.

    Section 1043(a) of the Water Resources Reform and Development Act 
of 2014 (33 U.S.C. 2201 note) is amended--
            (1) in paragraph (5)(B) by inserting ``and every 5 years 
        thereafter until the termination of authority of the pilot 
        program,'' after ``enactment of this Act,'';
            (2) in paragraph (7) by striking ``on the date that is 5 
        years after the date of enactment of this Act'' and inserting 
        ``at the end of the fiscal year period described in paragraph 
        (8)''; and
            (3) in paragraph (8) by striking ``fiscal years 2015 
        through 2019'' and inserting ``fiscal years 2021 through 
        2025''.
