 To amend title 49, United States Code, to extend the authority of the 
  Secretary of Transportation to issue non-premium aviation insurance.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``War Risk Insurance Extension Act of 
2019''.

SEC. 2. EXTENSION OF AUTHORITY.

    Section 44310(b) of title 49, United States Code, is amended by 
striking ``December 31, 2019'' and inserting ``December 31, 2020''.
