  The senior assistant legislative clerk read the nomination of Kelly 
Craft, of Kentucky, to be the Representative of the United States of 
America to the United Nations, with the rank and status of Ambassador 
Extraordinary and

Plenipotentiary, and the Representative of the United States of America 
in the Security Council of the United Nations.
  Thereupon, the Senate proceeded to consider the nomination.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The question is, Will the Senate advise and 
consent to the Craft nomination?
  Mr. BARRASSO. Mr. President, I ask for the yeas and nays.

  There appears to be a sufficient second.
