                         MESSAGE FROM THE HOUSE

  At 10:53 a.m., a message from the House of Representatives, delivered 
by Mrs. Cole, one of its reading clerks, announced that the House has 
passed the following bill, in which it requests the concurrence of the 
Senate.

       H.R. 5035. An act to amend the Communications Act of 1934 
     to extend expiring provisions relating to the retransmission 
     of signals of television broadcast stations, and for other 
     purposes.
