                       Tuesday, December 17, 2019

Mr. WILSON of South Carolina. Madam Speaker, as co-chair of the
United Kingdom (UK) Caucus, I am grateful to extend my warmest
congratulations to Prime Minister Boris Johnson and the Conservative
Party for winning a resounding mandate from the British people to get
Brexit done.
I have complete confidence that Prime Minister Johnson will finally
implement the will of the British people to leave the European Union in
a manner that best serves the interests of the UK. I look forward to
continuing to work closely to deepen our bilateral ties with the UK,
especially as it relates to a potential free trade agreement after
Brexit is done.
I am confident the close relationship with President Donald Trump and
the Prime Minister will expedite our trade for mutually beneficial job
creation.
In conclusion, God Bless our Troops, and we will never forget
September 11th in the Global War on Terrorism.
