CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
Expressing the sense of Congress that the President should invoke the
authorities provided under the Defense Production Act of 1950 to
increase the production of baby formula and provide for the equitable
distribution of baby formula through Federally qualified health
centers.
Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring),
That it is the sense of Congress that the President should invoke the
authorities provided under the Defense Production Act of 1950
(including the use of the prioritization of contracts, loans, loan
guarantees, direct purchase authority, and the authority to procure and
install equipment in private industrial facilities) to increase the
production of baby formula and provide for the equitable distribution
of baby formula through Federally qualified health centers.
