JOINT RESOLUTION
Disapproving of the rule submitted by the Department of Justice and the
Department of Homeland Security relating to ``Procedures for Credible
Fear Screening and Consideration of Asylum, Withholding of Removal, and
CAT Protection Claims by Asylum Officers''.
Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United
States of America in Congress assembled, That Congress disapproves the
rule submitted by the Department of Justice and the Department of
Homeland Security relating to ``Procedures for Credible Fear Screening
and Consideration of Asylum, Withholding of Removal, and CAT Protection
Claims by Asylum Officers'' (87 FR 18078), and such rule shall have no
force or effect.
