Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``No Wireless Installations in Federal Instruments for Voting Act'' or the ``No WIFI Act''. SEC. 2. PROHIBITING VOTING SYSTEMS FROM CONTAINING WIRELESS COMPONENTS. (a) Prohibition.--Section 301(a) of the Help America Vote Act of 2002 (52 U.S.C. 21081(a)) is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: ``(7) Prohibiting wireless components.--The voting system may not contain any wireless components.''. (b) Effective Date.--The amendment made by subsection (a) shall apply with respect to elections held during 2022 or any succeeding year. <all>
