Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Protect Older Job Applicants Act'' or the ``POJA Act''. SEC. 2. PROHIBITION AGAINST LIMITING, SEGREGATING, OR CLASSIFYING APPLICANTS FOR EMPLOYMENT. Section 4(a)(2) of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (29 U.S.C. 623(a)(2)) is amended-- (1) by inserting ``or applicants for employment'' after ``employees''; and (2) by inserting ``or as an applicant for employment'' after ``employee''. <all>
