 To authorize appropriations for the substance abuse youth initiative, 
                        and for other purposes.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Preventing Youth Substance Abuse Act 
of 2021''.

SEC. 2. SUBSTANCE ABUSE AFFECTED YOUTH INITIATIVE.

    There is authorized to be appropriated for each fiscal year 2022 
through 2026 $16,000,000 to carry out an the initiative relating to 
youth affected by opioids, stimulants, and other substance abuse 
implemented using amounts appropriated pursuant to paragraph (1)(E) of 
the ``Department of Justice--Office of Justice Programs--Juvenile 
Justice Programs'' account of title II of division B of the 
Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2020 (Public Law 116-93).
