A BILL
To amend title III of the Public Health Service Act to terminate the
effective time period for immunity for manufacturers of COVID-19
vaccines, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. LIABILITY OF COVID-19 VACCINE MANUFACTURERS.
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, in applying section XII
of the ``Declaration Under the Public Readiness and Emergency
Preparedness Act for Medical Countermeasures Against COVID-19'' issued
pursuant to section 319F-3(b)(2)(B) of the Public Health Service Act
(42 U.S.C. 247d-6d(b)(2)(B)), with respect to manufacturers of COVID-19
vaccines, the reference to October 1, 2024, shall be deemed a reference
to December 1, 2021.
