 introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on

                                 A BILL


 
 To prohibit certain Federal funding from being used for certain cash 
                          assistance programs.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Stop Disincentivizing Work Act''.

SEC. 2. PROHIBITION ON FUNDING.

    (a) In General.--None of the funds made available under any of the 
Acts specified in subsection (b) may be used for recurring cash 
assistance programs to individuals or households.
    (b) Acts Specified.--The Acts specified in this subsection are the 
following:
            (1) The Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental 
        Appropriations Act, 2020 (Public Law 116-123).
            (2) The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (Public Law 
        116-127).
            (3) The CARES Act (Public Law 116-136).
            (4) The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 (Public Law 
        116-260).
            (5) The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (Public Law 117-
        2).
