                                 A BILL


 
  To extend certain national school lunch program requirement waivers 
              addressing COVID-19, and for other purposes.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Keeping School Meals Flexible Act''.

SEC. 2. EXTENSION OF CERTAIN NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM REQUIREMENT 
              WAIVERS ADDRESSING COVID-19.

    Section 2202 of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (42 
U.S.C. 1760 note) is amended--
            (1) by amending subsection (e) to read as follows:
    ``(e) Sunset.--The authority of the Secretary to establish, grant, 
or extend a waiver under this section shall expire on June 30, 2023.''; 
and
            (2) by adding at the end the following:
    ``(g) Authorization of Appropriations.--There is authorized to be 
appropriated such sums as may be necessary to carry out this 
section.''.
