  To prohibit the Secretary of the Treasury from requiring the use of 
   facial recognition technology for access to any Internal Revenue 
                   Service online account or service.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Save Taxpayers' Privacy Act''.

SEC. 2. PROHIBITION ON FACIAL RECOGNITION FOR ACCESS TO INTERNAL 
              REVENUE SERVICE ACCOUNTS.

    The Secretary of the Treasury may not establish or maintain any 
verification process for access to an Internal Revenue Service online 
account or service using facial recognition technology.
