Gohmert) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the
Committee on Small Business

A BILL
To prohibit participation of persons convicted of certain felonies in
programs of the Small Business Administration, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Stop Funding Rioters Act''.
SEC. 2. PERSONS CONVICTED OF CERTAIN FELONIES INELIGIBLE FOR SMALL
BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANCE.
No person convicted of an offense relating to a misdemeanor or
felony assault of a law enforcement officer, or convicted of a felony
for actions during or in connection with a riot that resulted in the
destruction of a small business concern (as defined in section 3 of the
Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 632)), shall be eligible to receive any
assistance from or through, or participate in, any program administered
by the Small Business Administration.
