A BILL
To authorize the President to waive export criteria and transportation
and related costs for transportation of certain ammunition and ordnance
to supply entities providing ammunition to Ukraine, and for other
purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``American Ammo in Defense of Ukraine
Act''.
SEC. 2. WAIVER OF EXPORT CRITERIA AND TRANSPORTATION AND RELATED COSTS
FOR TRANSPORTATION OF CERTAIN AMMUNITION AND ORDNANCE TO
UKRAINE.
(a) In General.--In the case of ammunition or ordnance with Export
Classification Number 0A501 or Category 3 on the U.S. munitions list
that is to be delivered to a confirmed military logistical supply
entity providing ammunition to Ukraine, as designated by the Secretary
of Defense, the President may--
(1) provide for the transportation of the ammunition or
ordnance without charge to Ukraine for the costs of such
transportation; and
(2) waive any applicable export criteria of the Department
of State or the Department of Commerce to expedite the delivery
of the ammunition or ordnance.
(b) Termination.--The authority under subsection (a) shall
terminate when the armed conflict in Ukraine ends.
