following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Homeland
Security

A BILL
To prohibit the Transportation Security Administration from using the
``X'' gender designation in the TSA PreCheck advanced security program,
and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Traditional Screening Application
Act'' or the ``TSA Act''.
SEC. 2. PROHIBITION.
The Administrator of the Transportation Security Administration may
not use the ``X'' gender designation in the TSA PreCheck advanced
security program. The Administrator may permit applicants to and
participants in such program to select from only ``Male'' or
``Female''.
