  Ms. Mace, Ms. Malliotakis, Mrs. Wagner, Mr. Mast, Ms. Herrell, Mr. 
   Gaetz, and Mr. Fulcher) introduced the following bill; which was 
           referred to the Committee on Oversight and Reform

   To reduce the amount made available to the National Archives and 
 Records Administration unless certain backlogs of the Administration 
                 are resolved, and for other purposes.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. AMOUNTS MADE AVAILABLE TO THE NATIONAL ARCHIVES AND RECORDS 
              ADMINISTRATION.

    Amounts made available to the National Archives and Records 
Administration for personnel records processing for fiscal year 2023, 
and each fiscal year thereafter, shall be reduced to the amount 
available for obligation or expenditure on March 20, 2020, for that 
purpose, unless the Administration processes and resolves before 
October 1, 2022, the personnel records backlog of 600,000 requests.
