Coleman, Ms. Brown of Ohio, Mr. Carson, Mr. Danny K. Davis of Illinois,
and Mr. Evans) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the
Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, and in addition to the
Committee on Small Business, for a period to be subsequently determined
by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as
fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned

A BILL
To amend the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act to remove the
exclusion of certain small business concerns from the disadvantaged
business enterprise program, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Small Business Contracting Fairness
Act of 2022''.
SEC. 2. DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISES.
Section 11101(e)(2)(A) of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs
Act (Public Law 117-58) is amended to read as follows:
``(A) Small business concern.--The term `small
business concern' means a small business concern (as
the term is used in section 3 of the Small Business Act
(15 U.S.C. 632)).''.
