                                 A BILL


 
 To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to repeal the diesel fuel 
                                  tax.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Relief for our Truckers Act''.

SEC. 2. REPEAL OF TAX ON DIESEL FUEL.

    (a) In General.--Section 4041(a)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code of 
1986 is hereby repealed.
    (b) Effective Date.--The amendment made by this section shall take 
effect on the date of the enactment of this Act.
