    To amend title 38, United States Code, to increase the rate for 
   allowances based on mileage for beneficiary travel, and for other 
                               purposes.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Veterans Medical Mileage Adjustment 
Act of 2022''.

SEC. 2. INCREASE IN RATE FOR ALLOWANCES BASED ON MILEAGE FOR 
              BENEFICIARY TRAVEL.

    Section 111(a) of title 38, United States Code, is amended, in the 
first sentence, by striking ``41.5 cents'' and inserting ``45.5 
cents''.
