            was referred to the Committee on Foreign Affairs

                                 A BILL


 
         To require a report on the death of Shireen Abu Akleh.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. REPORT ON DEATH OF SHIREEN ABU AKLEH.

    (a) In General.--Not later than 30 days after the date of the 
enactment of this Act, Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation 
and Secretary of State, in consultation with the Director of National 
Intelligence and the Secretary of Defense, shall submit to Congress a 
report on the death of Shireen Abu Akleh.
    (b) Matters To Be Included.--The report required by subsection (a) 
shall include--
            (1) an identification of those individuals or entities that 
        carried out, participated in, or were otherwise complicit in, 
        or responsible for the death of Shireen Abu Akleh; and
            (2) an identification of any United States defense 
        materials or services were implicated in the death of Shireen 
        Abu Akleh.
    (c) Form.--The report required by subsection (a) shall be submitted 
in unclassified form and made available to the public at the same time 
on the website of the Department of State.
