Mr. Pappas (for himself and Mr. Newhouse) introduced the following
bill; which was referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce, and
in addition to the Committee on the Judiciary, for a period to be
subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration
of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee
concerned

A BILL
To extend the temporary order for fentanyl-related substances.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. EXTENSION OF TEMPORARY ORDER FOR FENTANYL-RELATED
SUBSTANCES.
Effective as if included in the enactment of the Temporary
Reauthorization and Study of the Emergency Scheduling of Fentanyl
Analogues Act (Public Law 116-114), section 2 of such Act (as amended
by Public Law 117-103) is amended by striking ``December 31, 2022'' and
inserting ``December 31, 2024''.
