   To amend title 18, United States Code, to provide that robbery of 
     armored cars constitutes bank robbery, and for other purposes.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Justice for Armored Car Crew Members 
Act of 2022''.

SEC. 2. ROBBERY OF ARMORED CARS.

    Section 2113 of title 18, United States Code, is amended--
            (1) in subsection (f), by inserting before the period at 
        the end the following: ``, and any armored car or armored car 
        company building''; and
            (2) by adding at the end the following:
    ``(i) The term ``armored car'' means a vehicle used by an armored 
car company (as such term is defined in section 5(2) of the Armored Car 
Industry Reciprocity Act of 1993 (15 U.S.C. 5904)) for the purposes 
described in subparagraph (B) of such section 5(2) (15 U.S.C. 
5904(2)(B)).
    ``(j) The term `armored car company building' means a building used 
by an armored car company for purposes of engaging in the business of 
the armored car company.''.
