                    For the relief of Jan van Hoek.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. EXEMPTION OF JAN VAN HOEK FROM NATIONAL VACCINE INJURY 
              COMPENSATION PROGRAM PETITION DEADLINES.

    The deadlines described in section 2116 of the Public Health 
Service Act (42 U.S.C. 300aa-16) with respect to petitions filed for 
compensation under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program 
shall not apply to a petition filed with respect to a vaccine-related 
injury occurring as a result of the administration to Jan van Hoek of a 
vaccine during the period that began on March 6, 2007, and ended on 
December 31, 2010.
