submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee
on Education and Labor

RESOLUTION
Condemning the horrific attack in Uvalde, Texas, and expressing support
and prayers for all those impacted by that tragedy.
Whereas, on May 24, 2022, a mass shooting took place at Robb Elementary School
in Uvalde, Texas;
Whereas the people of the United States mourn the innocent 21 lives that were
lost at Robb Elementary School in this horrific tragedy;
Whereas the people of the United States continue to pray for those who were
wounded and recovering from the attack; and
Whereas the people of the United States are thankful for the quick action of
first responders who cared for the injured: Now, therefore, be it
Resolved, That the House of Representatives--
(1) condemns the senseless attack at Robb Elementary School
in Uvalde, Texas;
(2) honors the memory of the victims that were lost;
(3) expresses hope for a full and speedy recovery and
pledges continued support for people that were injured in the
attack;
(4) offers heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to
all of the students, teachers, administrators, and faculty of
Robb Elementary School, as well as the families, friends, and
loved ones affected by the tragedy; and
(5) honors the selfless and dedicated services of the
teachers, school administrators, school support staff, medical
professionals, law enforcement, and other individuals who
responded to the attack.
