              referred to the Committee on Ways and Means

                               RESOLUTION


 
 Requesting the President to transmit certain information to the House 
  of Representatives relating to the proposed waiver of intellectual 
 property commitments under the World Trade Organization Agreement on 
         Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights.

    Resolved, That the President is requested to transmit to the House 
of Representatives, not later than 14 days after the date of the 
adoption of this resolution, copies of all documents, memoranda, 
advisory legal opinions, notes from meetings, audio recordings, records 
(including telephone and electronic mail records), correspondence, or 
other communications, or any portion of any such communications, to the 
extent that any such one or more items are within the possession of the 
President, that demonstrate--
            (1) the proposed waiver of intellectual property 
        commitments under the World Trade Organization Agreement on 
        Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (in this 
        resolution referred to as ``TRIPS waiver'') will increase 
        global supply and delivery of COVID-19 vaccines;
            (2) the proposed TRIPS waiver will accelerate the end of 
        the COVID-19 pandemic; or
            (3) the People's Republic of China will not obtain access 
        to patents or other intellectual property related to COVID-19 
        vaccines even if expressly excluded from the proposed TRIPS 
        waiver.
