 Griffith, Mr. Rice of South Carolina, Mr. Stauber, Mr. Van Drew, Ms. 
  Herrell, Mr. Austin Scott of Georgia, Mr. Moolenaar, Mr. Gibbs, and 
Mrs. Miller of Illinois) submitted the following resolution; which was 
               referred to the Committee on the Judiciary

                               RESOLUTION


 
     Condemning the Biden administration for incentivizing illegal 
  immigration by compensating illegal migrants who cross the southern 
 border illegally and for stopping construction on the southern border 
       wall and failing to enforce Migrant Protection Protocols.

Whereas the Biden administration is considering payments to illegal migrants 
        that could amount to $1,000,000 a family or up to $450,000 for each 
        migrant;
Whereas the Biden administration's failed border policies have created the worst 
        border crisis in 30 years;
Whereas U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents have arrested more than 
        1,700,000 illegal migrants along the southern border during the 2021 
        fiscal year;
Whereas at least 160,000 illegal migrants have been released into the United 
        States and underage illegal migrants are being flown secretly into small 
        airports to be resettled across America; and
Whereas the Biden administration has continued to incentivize illegal 
        immigration with these proposed payments and by dissolving previous 
        border policies like Migrant Protection Protocols and adequately 
        enforcing title 42 expulsions: Now, therefore, be it
    Resolved, That the House of Representatives--
            (1) condemns the Biden administration for incentivizing 
        illegal immigration by compensating illegal migrants who cross 
        the southern border illegally; and
            (2) condemns the Biden administration for stopping 
        construction on the southern border wall and failing to enforce 
        Migrant Protection Protocols.
