Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``September 11 Day of Remembrance Act''. SEC. 2. SEPTEMBER 11 DAY OF REMEMBRANCE AS A LEGAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY. Section 6103(a) of title 5, United States Code, is amended by inserting after the item relating to Labor Day the following: ``September 11 Day of Remembrance, September 11.''. <all>
