                                 A BILL


 
  To amend the Water Resources Development Act of 2000 to modify the 
authorization of appropriations for the Las Vegas Wash program, and for 
                            other purposes.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Las Vegas Wash Program Extension 
Act''.

SEC. 2. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE LAS VEGAS WASH PROGRAM.

    Section 529(b)(3) of the Water Resources Development Act of 2000 
(114 Stat. 2658; 119 Stat. 2255; 125 Stat. 865) is amended by striking 
``$30,000,000'' and inserting ``$55,000,000''.
