 Mr. Marshall introduced the following bill; which was read twice and 
   referred to the Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry

 To amend the Child Nutrition Act of 1966 to require the authorization 
    of frozen fruits and vegetables under the special supplemental 
          nutrition program for women, infants, and children.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. FROZEN FRUITS AND VEGETABLES UNDER THE SPECIAL SUPPLEMENTAL 
              NUTRITION PROGRAM FOR WOMEN, INFANTS, AND CHILDREN.

    Section 17(f)(11) of the Child Nutrition Act of 1966 (42 U.S.C. 
1786(f)(11)) is amended by adding at the end the following:
                    ``(D) Frozen fruits and vegetables.--In the 
                regulations prescribed under subparagraph (A), the 
                Secretary shall require a State agency to make 
                available under the program frozen fruits and frozen 
                vegetables.''.
