Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Medicare Patient Access and Practice Stabilization Act of 2024''. SEC. 2. INCREASING SUPPORT FOR PHYSICIANS AND OTHER PRACTITIONERS IN ADJUSTING TO MEDICARE PAYMENT CHANGES. (a) In General.--Section 1848(t) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395w-4(t)) is amended-- (1) in the header, by striking ``2024'' and inserting ``2025''; and (2) in paragraph (1)-- (A) in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by striking ``2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024'' and inserting ``2021 through 2025''; (B) in subparagraph (D), by striking ``and'' at the end; (C) in subparagraph (E), by striking the period and inserting ``; and''; and (D) by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: ``(F) such services furnished on or after January 1, 2025, and before January 1, 2026, by 4.73 percent.''. (b) Conforming Amendment.--Section 1848(c)(2)(B)(iv)(V) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395w-4(c)(2)(B)(iv)(V)) is amended by striking ``2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024'' and inserting ``any of years 2021 through 2025''. <all>
