To extend funding for community health centers and the National Health 
                 Service Corps, and for other purposes.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Strengthening Community Care Act of 
2023''.

SEC. 2. EXTENSION FOR COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTERS AND THE NATIONAL HEALTH 
              SERVICE CORPS.

    (a) Community Health Centers.--Section 10503(b)(1)(F) of the 
Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (42 U.S.C. 254b-2(b)(1)(F)) 
is amended by striking ``2023'' and inserting ``2028''.
    (b) National Health Service Corps.--Section 10503(b)(2)(H) of the 
Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (42 U.S.C. 254b-2(b)(2)(H)) 
is amended by striking ``2023'' and inserting ``2028''.
