                                 A BILL


 
 To amend the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act to require 
schools to offer flavored milk under the school lunch program, and for 
                            other purposes.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Milk is Indisputably Liked by Kids 
Act of 2023'' or the ``MILK Act of 2023''.

SEC. 2. TYPES OF MILK OFFERED UNDER THE SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM.

    Section 9(a)(2)(A) of the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch 
Act (42 U.S.C. 1758(a)(2)(A)) is amended--
            (1) in clause (ii)--
                    (A) by striking ``flavored and''; and
                    (B) by striking ``and'' at the end;
            (2) by redesignating clause (iii) as clause (iv); and
            (3) by inserting after clause (ii) the following:
                            ``(iii) shall offer students flavored milk; 
                        and''.
