A BILL
To repeal the guidance titled ``CVM GFI #263 Recommendations for
Sponsors of Medically Important Antimicrobial Drugs Approved for Use in
Animals to Voluntarily Bring Under Veterinary Oversight All Products
That Continue to be Available Over-the-Counter''.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Stop Government Overreach in
Ranching Act''.
SEC. 2. REPEAL OF GUIDANCE FOR INDUSTRY NO. 263.
(a) Repeal.--The guidance titled ``CVM GFI #263 Recommendations for
Sponsors of Medically Important Antimicrobial Drugs Approved for Use in
Animals to Voluntarily Bring Under Veterinary Oversight All Products
That Continue to be Available Over-the-Counter'' published by the Food
and Drug Administration in June 2021 (FDA-2019-D-3614) is hereby
repealed.
(b) No Issuance of Identical or Substantially Similar Guidance.--
The Food and Drug Administration shall not issue any guidance or a rule
that is the same as, or substantially similar to, the guidance repealed
by subsection (a).
