                                 A BILL


 
 To amend the SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act to reauthorize 
 grants to improve trauma support services and mental health care for 
              children and youth in educational settings.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Trauma Support and Mental Health in 
Schools Reauthorization Act of 2023''.

SEC. 2. GRANTS TO IMPROVE TRAUMA SUPPORT SERVICES AND MENTAL HEALTH 
              CARE FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH IN EDUCATIONAL SETTINGS.

    Section 7134(l) of the SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act (42 
U.S.C. 280h-7(l)) is amended by striking ``fiscal years 2019 through 
2023'' and inserting ``fiscal years 2024 through 2028''.
