   Committee on Ways and Means, and in addition to the Committee on 
 Homeland Security, for a period to be subsequently determined by the 
  Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall 
           within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned

 To transfer the unobligated balances of amounts made available to the 
   Internal Revenue Service under the Inflation Reduction Act to the 
          Secretary of Homeland Security to secure the border.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``The Fund Our Border Not The IRS Act 
of 2023''.

SEC. 2. UNOBLIGATED BALANCES OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE MADE 
              AVAILABLE TO SECURE THE BORDER.

    The unobligated balances of all amounts made available to the 
Internal Revenue Service under Public Law 117-169 shall be transferred 
to the Secretary of Homeland Security and be made available for the 
salaries and expenses of agents and officers of U.S. Customs and Border 
Protection, constructing and maintaining physical barriers along the 
southern international border of the United States, and other purposes 
relating to border security.
