To streamline the budget process at the Department of Defense, and for 
                            other purposes.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Streamline Pentagon Budgeting Act of 
2023''.

SEC. 2. REPEAL OF REPORTING REQUIREMENTS RELATED TO UNFUNDED 
              PRIORITIES.

    (a) In General.--Chapter 9 of title 10, United States Code, is 
amended--
            (1) by repealing section 222a;
            (2) by repealing section 222b; and
            (3) in the table of sections at the beginning of the 
        chapter, by striking the items relating to sections 222a and 
        222b.
    (b) Military Construction Projects.--Section 2806 of the Military 
Construction Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2018 (division B of 
Public Law 115-91; 10 U.S.C. 222a note) is hereby repealed.
    (c) National Nuclear Security Administration.--
            (1) In general.--Section 4716 of the Atomic Energy Defense 
        Act (50 U.S.C. 2756) is hereby repealed.
            (2) Clerical amendment.--The table of contents at the 
        beginning of the Atomic Energy Defense Act is amended by 
        striking the item relating to section 4716.
