 introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on 
                           Homeland Security

 To terminate the Disinformation Governance Board of the Department of 
Homeland Security and to prohibit the use of Federal funds to establish 
            any other similar Board, and for other purposes.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``Protecting Free Speech Act''.

SEC. 2. TERMINATION OF THE DISINFORMATION GOVERNANCE BOARD.

    The Disinformation Governance Board of the Department of Homeland 
Security is hereby terminated.

SEC. 3. PROHIBITION ON FUNDING THE ACTIVITIES OF THE DISINFORMATION 
              GOVERNANCE BOARD.

    No Federal funds authorized to be appropriated or otherwise made 
available to the Department of Homeland Security may be made available 
to establish or carry out the activities of any other entity that is 
substantially similar to the Disinformation Governance Board terminated 
by section 2.
